In 1946 Zatopek won the cross-country in Ascot.
I'm looking for the completr results of this race.

It seems that the Belgian Athlete Wauters Frans was second?

The "Britannia Shield" was hold for the first time in 1946 from 1 november untill 2 november.
It was Czechoslowakia who won with 91 points, second was the R.A.F. with 88 Pts and third Belgium with
74 Pts. There were 7 participants.
Fourth was the Britisch Army, fifth Holland and sixt France, last and 7th was the USA (Airforce)

Here the CEZCH team : Emil Zátopek, the corporal Vomáčka Luboš, the aspirant Roudný Jindřich, Přemysl Dolenský and Štrup (Policeman).

Jaroslav Štrupp represented Czechoslovakia in the "Britannia Shield" and in "Tour of Spa" (Belgium) in 1946.

In 1948 he was 17the in the "Tour of Spa", Zatopek won the race and Czechoslovakia was countrywinner.

He was also  winner of Košice Marathon in 1951.

Here the names of 5 Belgian athletes who participated in 1946;
Frans Wauters (second after Zatopek), Jan Steenhouwer, Robert Schoonjans, Etienne Gailly and Frans Feremans.
