PostSubject: Who visited NAAFI Celle in spring 1957   28/6/2013, 11:59

Dear All,

some time ago, I posted a "trying-to-find" because I was looking for my father Michael. My problem was / is I only have a photo and his first name. No family name, no regiment, nothing at all. That makes it really difficult. I had some responses on my post, but nothing really to trace.
Now I start a second try. I know from my aunt (the only person in my family that is still alive), that Michael met my mother most probably in Celle (where I was born) in the NAAFI. So I am looking, if there are still survivors that can remember the NAAFI in Celle in early 1957. I was born January 1958, so this must have been about early spring 1957. The Name of my mother was Inge.

So does this ring a bell to anyone? A young couple, Michael and Inge? My mother was 21 at that time, blond and extremly curly-haired.

I still have the photo of Michael. So if there is anyone outside who remembers, I can send you the photo.
All other information, that can be of help, is welcomed very much too.

Kind regards
