Dear All,

some time ago, I posted a "trying-to-find" because I was looking for my father Michael. My problem was / is I only have a photo and his first name. No family name, no regiment, nothing at all. That makes it really difficult. I had some responses on my post, but nothing really to trace.
Now I start a second try. I know from my aunt (the only person in my family that is still alive), that Michael met my mother most probably in Celle (where I was born) in the NAAFI. So I am looking, if there are still survivors that can remember the NAAFI in Celle in early 1957. I was born January 1958, so this must have been about early spring 1957. The Name of my mother was Inge.

So does this ring a bell to anyone? A young couple, Michael and Inge? My mother was 21 at that time, blond and extremly curly-haired.

I still have the photo of Michael.So if there is anyone outside who remembers, I can send you the photo.
All other information, that can be of help, is welcomed very much too.

hi Klaus,i was in Celle for only 2 weeks .in 1957/8 cant help you but only to say it was a great place. good luck. i was in the postal unit.may have sorted some of your dads letters. geordy.

Cant help you Klaus, I'm sure if you keep on trying something will turn up, I know it is very difficult but you have to try whilst there is time. Good Luck and I hope you learn something
