| Hi,
I was looking through the old pictures of barracks in "Recognise This Place?" part of your website. I found an old picture of a 'Kasserne' in 'Spandau, Berlin', and as my friend was born in Berlin I asked if he could help. The picture is of the '5th Royal Regement of the Grenadier Guards' and there barracks 'Stresow-Kaserne' on the 'Grenadierstraße' in Berlin Spandau. The buildings are very similar to that of the British Smuts barracks. The buildings were badly damaged in the war so he doesnt think that any of the allies used the building complex. Hope this helps.
