Cinema Managers had a mobilisation liability and were RASC cap badged (and as owners of a decent suit and a collar and several ties were also (often) accorded honorary Sgts' Mess Status/Membership of the Unit occupying the Barracks).

The SKC, nowadays SSVC, is still operating and has an address in
Chalfont Grove, Narcot Lane, Chalfont St Peter, Bucks, SL9 8TN
they may well have records of your father's service, or even an archive.
