| As a young soldier (RCT) we used to go on summer camps after the Summer Sales Exercises. These were great times loads of boozing farting and belching and chasing the fraulines mmmmm. We once went to a place called Marrienhagen somewhere near the Mona Dam. The village put on a dance for us and treated us like royalty. Did any of you have summer camps? | |

| I only ever attended one Dusty, in the last year of my service as it happens, It was not a HQ level type think I'm afraid. Having said that, the Hong Kong one was great fun, stuck out on peng chau island I think it was, great water skiing activities and stuff. | |

| We did a lot of adventure training - Idea behind them was to learn skills which could be adapted for military use ie skiing, parachuting, mountaineering, abseiling etc but the afternoons and evenings made for party all over. | |

But only on weekdays of course. Of course - the German didn't take too kindly to us making loud noises and driving over their land at the weekend - besides that we were too busy on the P***. | |
