We actually went for some kind of break there and our staff sergeant being a complete lazy idiot couldn't think of anything better for us to do than walk right around it while he drank beer etc with the other seniors. | |

It came up in conversation recently that back in the 70's, somewhere 'round the back of Felsenmeer and up towards Deilinghofen, there used to be a direction sign for a Panzer Lehr unit.
We couldn't ever remember seeing a Bundeswehr presence in that area.
