Any one remember the Paradise club? Out past the pads quarters with the schnele hut in the car park. Used to be run by a geordie bloke at one point.
I remember practicing my best pidgeon german having only been there 4 or 5 days and his reply of "Howay man, speek in fookin' english for chrissakes". Boy did we have some crackin' nights our there!

Yes I remember it. Also Palletta (?) & Sir Henry's in town. I was in Commcen '84 till it closed in '85 and went back to Bielefeld. Lubbecke was definately best posting, happy days

KR? Who are you then? I did a few turns in the comcen between 84 and 85 when the troop relocated to Lippstadt.
