Had a look at "Zulu" this afternoon, (bless you freeview channel !).

There has been some discussion in the past about the fact that C/Sgt Bourne has his stripes on his left arm.
I noticed today that ALL the ncos in the movie had chevrons on the same sleeve as him, even that Swiss bloke, Schiess.

When films were made in those days they had a good military advisor on the team so there must be an element of accuracy. (Mind you, the R.Warwicks were involved in the change to South Wales Borderers at that time, but there's no mention of them).

That's me completely buggered now.

(Nice shot of Michael Caine's National Health Service fillings though !).
