Looking 4 a favour from my FB friends and friends of friends. Today is my wee brothers anniversary. 17 years ago 2day he was killed on exercise in Germany whilst serving in the 32 Armoured Regiment Royal Engineers. So if any1 has any photos of Jamie Kirkwood or Sapper Kirkwood or knows of any1 that might have can u pls let me know. Don't have many pics of him as an adult and wld really appreciate any from any1. | Just a quick update - Fiona has been accepted as a member of "I'm a Sapper I'm Ubique" Facebook group. She has found a number of people who knew Jamie, both as a close friend and colleague. They have all pledged to dig out their old photos and see if they have any of him so they can pass them on to his sister via Fiona.
From a Sapper's perspective, and I'm sure it will be the same in all Corps and Regiments, we are part of a family that is greater than the sum of all its parts.
