Have a drink (or three) on me. Brandy Sour (made with gut rot Keo Brandy and fresh lime/lemon juice) was my favourite thirst quencher during my 1980 UNFICYP tour (apart from the then Calgary based Lord Strathcona's Horse version of Moose Milk).

Fortunately the Black Watch of Canada relieved them, so Anglo - Canadian relations were soon back to normal.

Jim, thanks for the tip but, unusually for me, about 10 years ago I had the foresight to buy a place out there and now that we have retired we can spend a bit longer there. I am lobbying the Mayor of Kyrenia to fit a stair lift to St Hilarion! Laughing
