| Hope they take all the newsreaders with them, I say England for the English. Think how much money we will save, And in return we will be able to understand our newsreaders, Unless they give the Polish the jobs. | |

| KIeler sprotten,It is people like you that makes the English nation wanting! The majority of we Scots don't want independence my friend but if the majority of decent English folk all thought like you then, perhaps Scotland, Ireland and Wales would be better off on their own in order that you could end your supporting role of the home nations and you can do what you wish without the burden on your shoulders. We on this website all served in HM Forces of the UK in WW1&2, Korea,Malaya,Borneo,Aden, NI,Falkland Islands,Iraq and Afghanistan. We served in all units of the BRITISH ARMY World wide and are very proud that we did so.Mark Time!! | |

| Opposition to independence is growing in Scotland, according to the first poll published since the referendum agreement was signed. An Ipsos Mori poll published in The Times showed support for the union at 58% and support for independence at 30% among those who were certain to vote in the referendum. Opposition to independence increased from 50% in January to 55% in June then 58% in the latest poll, while support for independence dropped from 39% to 35% then 30%.
Salmond is looking up an increasingly steep hill, indeed he is already looking weak. Alex Salmond for the past twenty years or more as far as I can remember has not been known for compromising or changing his mind, yet since the referendum document was signed just a few days ago he has changed his mind on some of his most 'supposedly' strongly held beliefs. The man is I suppose just a politician.

| Yes rucjock this does leave the English wanting . Wanting to now have the same rights that all of the British nation have. I think we have paid for what happened a few hundred years ago, But many of the Scots Will never forget, The British nation was made Great with the help of all of the nations within the United Kingdom Further back than your comments, Remember Balaclarva, | |

Remember Balaclarva Funnily enough I was clocking the Balaklavas in a shop yesterday. Remembering the effect last winter's chills had on my lugs I considered buying one but finally decided not to. Wearing one of them makes me look like a 'kin bank robber, knowing my luck I'd get tazered by an orficer of the law. | |
