I've had problems accessing this Website, my Norton Antivirus software programme tells my that I am about to enter a Malicious Web Site when ever I attempt to log on - any suggestions from the Moderators?

No - I also have this problem from time to time with my 'Macafee' andti-virus suite. I even get it reporting 'Malicious Website' when I log into my ISP Internet provider website. I sometimes get this message when logging into the 'Daily Mail', and a few other main newspaper websites. It is possibly a problem with the software itself. This only occurs a few times with my Macafee software.

That could be the reason Len, my ISP is routed through Turkey at the moment. Uncle Vanya, I can understand why the Daily Mail wesite could be deemed "Malicious"! Rolling Eyes

I used Norton many years ago, when I first started using a PC. I had so many problems, I took it back for a refund. If I remember, the biggest drawback was the lack of support. Dreadful, although it may be better now.
These days I use Microsoft Security Essentials. As good as anything I've ever used, and free.
I also use Sandboxie, free at http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?DownloadSandboxie

What it amounts to is that you are working on a virtual hard drive, so if you pick up something nasty from a website, it doesn't get anywhere near your PC. When you shut down, anything malicious inside the sandbox goes off into outer space.
It does slow your PC down, slightly, so I have now installed solid state drives. A bit expensive, but blistering speed! No moving parts, see. And they are not sensitive to physical shock. I would recommend them to anyone. You can buy a 60 Gb for less than £30 if you shop around, and they are getting cheaper all the time.
My, how I do go on Very Happy

Seems to have sorted itself out now. Norton probably wanted to protect me from the tales of drunkenness and debauchery often found on here! Embarassed Embarassed

I fail to see why people spend pounds on such products as Norton (which is the pits) or MacAfee, when there are numerous free products on the net which are just as good, if not better. I have been using Avast! for a number of years now, with no problems whatsoever..
