Gordon,
Just took a quick look at the Royal Signals Discussion Group site and it is still up there, hidden like a lot of the others, but if you go the the Miscellaneous link, click that, then click Pages of Interest and there about halfway down it is listed.
The other site I had the 18 pager, full of photos interactive pages etc. unfortunately disappeared when Mac decided not to host web pages produced under Mac's iWeb, just what it was designed for.
The other personal site 'Life of Len' suffered the same fate, just cant get around to rebuilding them.

Len did you sail on the Devonshire? I had the pleasure of sailing to Cyprus on it in the early 60s although then I think it was the SS Devonshire

Chris,
sailed from Liverpool 2 February 1954 on the Devonshire, she had just come from a complete refit and was sparkling new (and we had to keep it that way) ---- "Rise and shine for Bibby Line' is still ringing in my ears after 60 years - Jesus, am I really that old !!!

Hey Len, where you moving to? Winnipeg possibly to enjoy a real winter? Good read of your checkered past. But the back ground music, reminds me of to many times around the parade square in Vimy Barracks in Kingston, getting prepped for the Princes Royals visit in 62.
