| Well said John Boy -As a ten year old I well remember standing at my class room window waving off the Royal Artillery Rrgiment with 3.7 ins guns who had been living on our estate in Whyteleafe/Kenley for about a year , on about D-Day. Many of them had become just like family with us and I have spent much time trying to find what became of them. However, without the unit designation, I can find nothing. -- Any suggestions?? | |
