I have compiled a (more-or-less complete) list of BAOR/BFG/Berlin Brigade and RAF Germany locations as a kmz (GoogleEarth) file.

I'd be happy to post it on this site, but I'm at a loss how to do it.

Any ideas?

Ah ha, just the person i've been looking for. Am retracing all my previous locations being shipped about all over the world with my Dad. I'm struggling to pin-point Dennis Barracks, Munsterlarger on Google earth.
Can you help ?

Yeah, checking out Google Earth is kinda neat. I did it for Soest and the first few times it was "almost" like walking around downtown, through the Married Quarters, and up past the house where I rented a small flat in 1973-74 after returning to Soest to work.

The detail is actually quite good, even though one can't get down to street level. However, even hovering...what is it....100 feet? above well-known areas was great.

Good luck with your Google Earth travels Jim. Have completed my travels, well the ones i actually remember. Was 2 months old when i went to Germany and was 9 years old when we came back. Have no clear memory of Bunde and slight memory of Osnabruck.

Happy travels
