Here's another regiment based in West-Germany during the late 1950's to mid 1965 was Fort Garry Horse and they were reg-force as well from 1958 to 1970. They were based at Fort Beausejour, Iserlohn.

Thanks for the link Steve! Much appreciated. I saw a website of a former Canadian Officer attached to the "Fort Garry's" back in the 1960's with period era photographs, real sharp looking website, if I can find it again??? I'll add it on to this website. Lots of neat period era info during when the Canadians were based there.

Here's one link on the FGH, but I can't seem to find that Veterans one from the 1960's era, it was set up quite nicely with 1960's era photos and terminology and uniforms etc. on that part of the Canadian ARMY PRIOR TO UNIFICATION IN 1968.

JPW, Yes and his book on "War Without Battles" (Canadian Brigade in Germany 1951-1994.) is a must read too!
