| This was a (13 Regiment ?) R Signals outpost serviced/ Q supported by the resident unit at Dennis Barracks, Munsterlager. Downtown a bar, run by an American, specialised in "Harvey Wallbangers" few managed more than two of these, in the course of a session.

| Must have been a Galliano salesman, visits to his emporium usually followed duty free libations in the Mess (mini unit multi-rank Mess), and involved subdued lighting, loud music, flashing lights and raucous laughter.
And waving at the guys on the other side of the border returning to camp in the dawn!
