Peter Kennedy REME

My wife and l were good friends with Pete and Sandra Kennedy but lost touch a while back. We got to know them when Peter REME (welder) was attached to 3RTR in Paderborn 79-81/2. They were then posted to Detmold and we still visited them. Sometime after they were posted to BATUS out in Canada, l did a Med Man exercise in 85 and that would have been the last time l saw them. I know in the late eighties Peter was attached to 50 Missile in Menden, at the time my own Regt were just down the road in Hemer but l was away on a posting and by the time l got back to RD they’d moved on. Peter hailed from Newcastle and Sandra was from Carlisle, they had two children Christopher and Sarah.
