Hi, Saboo,
Need some information please, if it is possible. Thanks.
About when did this sad event happen?
Were you a twin, born at the same? If yes! Your own Birth Certificate details will help us.
A date when parents possibly served in the military
Where were parents serving at the time?. If yes! Do you know the Unit they served with at Muenster or Munster?
Were parents serving with American or British Military?
Its a start! I hope you can bring more information.
Alan

and of course you might enquire at the Public Records Office Kew (National Archive: https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C2452697 BAOR BMD 1961 - 1972 consular registrations - Birth Marriage and Death (Consulates were at Berlin, Hannover and Duesseldorf up to around 1980).
The Army/RAF recorded and reported births/marriage or death via Part 2 and 3 Orders - this ensured the data was entered on an officer's/ soldier's record, made provision for Local Overseas Allowance, adjusted Married Quarter entitlement, adjusted/updated evacuation plans. Some one somewhere adjusted the population of the civil service contingent. (School teachers, JSLO, Claims Commission and in-theatre Customs officers, UK based civilians (Fire advisors, technical advisors, Budget Managers, Finance Officers, PSA/GWA (former MPBW) and their dependants).
Infants were (in those days) added to the maternal passport (most in service personnel travelled on Mod F90 ID card and F Mov 220 (NATO Travel Order ) the child was often added to both parental passports for civil servants. Consular Registration ensured the birth registration went back to UK (Somerset House - then), and the demographics of UK could be adjusted.
Modern point of contact for General Registry Office enquiries: https://www.gov.uk/general-register-office
