I went back to Berlin 60 years later!
-- I was there in the RAMC in BMH Berlin. I went around with a 1953 British 'Ensign Selfix ' camera 16/20 Model II. In 2017 60 years later I went around to some of the SAME sights with another 1953 Ensign Selfix Model I and tried to take the same photos ! I had not realised how all the trees had grown up !
. In 1957 I could see the Reichstag from the Brandenburg Gate easily as all the Tiergarten Trees were only about 3 foot tall after the Russian Shelling-- now there is a huge Forest obscuring the view -- i got lost trying to find the Reichstag !
