The page on the main site has been updated, and now includes photographs from Malcolm Stewart.
Does it stir any memories?
Paul.

Memories and photgraphs would be most welcome Alan.
Let me know where you would like them posted, and I will either point you in the right direction, or do it for you.
Paul.

Hi Paul, I have just found your website about BAOR locations. I served at RAF Obernkirchen from 1954 until 1957 in the RAF Police. Wing Comdr. Ackermann GM was the CO at that time. I looked at the photographs but none of them rang any bells even to one taken in the camp looking towards the main gate. Had a great time there. Regards

Does anyone know if know if my grandfather, Rob Braybrook, was at this station during the 50's, if so I'd love to hear some stories or see some pictures

Hi, My recently decreased father joined in late 1956, and was posted to obernkirchen in 1957. His name was Christopher Quinlan (could have been known as Christy, Chris or Kit) he was from Dublin, Ireland. I'm trying to see if there are any photos of his unit, I think it was 646 SU..
Any guidance would be appreciated.. Many thanks
Chris
