| Hello Gary welcome, i was in berlin in 1986 for the Berlin tattoo i stayed in the Barracks near the Olyimpic stadium i think it was Signals Regiement . We went accross to East Berlin one Night for a night in a Upmarket East German hotel .I think we wore Military uniform to go through Checkpoint Charlie we had lots champane and Cigars after diner all for 5 pounds what a night .
