| Jan 52 to Jan 70 - 40 Advanced Engineers Stores Regiment Jan 70 to Oct 77 - 40 Army Support Regiment Oct 77 to Oct 81 - 21 Army Support Squadron Oct 81 to 1992 - 40 Army Engineer Support Group then 40 Army Engineer Support Regiment later back to 40 Army Engineer Support Group disbanded 1992 A Royal Engineers reunion was held last weekend to coincide with the Willich Schützenfest and the presentation of a plaque to the Royal Engineers from Stadt Willich thanks to Tam Pearce a great time was had by all (112 booked) now researching the history so any help and photos would be appreciated for photos of the barracks today and the event please go to the blog link below Regards Steve http://royalengineersbaor.blogspot.com/ |

Im based in Sennelarger but dont mind popping over to Willich (Home of the Willich AVRE, you can tell im a Armd Engr)to get some photos of the camp now. Im on leave the week after so could do it then. If you could send me a location of where it was, I will square that away. My best man served there aswell so i will bagder him for some photos.
