| I have found a mention of the Danish Brigade being stationed in Wilhelmshaven.
The Barracks they took over were apparently called Isle of Man Barracks!
Could this be a previously unknown location, or an English translation of Danish or German names?

| Paul,further to my pm,have just looked at the index of the article and at the bottom it notes the currency in use will be Brig and BAFSV so that puts it all way back when we used that funny money.I once got paid in 3 pence notes,with that roll I felt like a millionare. | |

Tony, There is a Crerar Barracks just along the road in Oldenburg, and the entry on the main site give details of the Gentleman you mention. And there is two images of the "Funny Money" on the Denmark page. Paul. | |
