I have just sent in my photolicence to be renewed. They last ten years and then a new one has to be issued due to the photo being too old!!!
Money making....
Anyway, I digress, I took 2 photocopies as proof of what is on my licence as I have A, C, C1 etc (and H for tracked - mea culpa). This was done on the advice of my station officer who lost his HGV licence due to DVLA cock up!

wise move martin at least you will have proof,these goverment departments are hopeless,i shall do the same next time as the thought of having to take my motorbike test at 70 does not bare thinking about it was bad enough taking it at 61 but at least i passed with no faults so when people say dont i think i am to old to be riding i can say with confidence NO Very Happy

so true, i am not sure how a 63yr old should act, so until i grow up i will continue to behave as i do now and have a ball its been a laugh so farand your a long time dead no second chances wishing if only. cheers

They cannot fathom at work how.....childish I am but hey, you only live once and I say 'fukkem'......when Im old and in an oap home I'll be chasing the nurses and biting their bums!
