| Concerning "BOCHUM": I know, that the 3rd med. Regt. Royal Artillery came from Bochum to be stationed in Rendsburg. In Rendsburg the 3rd med. changed to 15th. med Regt. Royal Artillery.. (have a few good Photos.) In Rendsburg quieit a number of very young Soldiers came over from England( UK) to join the 15th.med. all nice young lads. from Kilmarnock and other places in Scotland.  | |

| I dont know, as I can remember reading aabout Bochum that they did not know what Regt. have been in Bochum. Sorry for bad Info. regards heinz | |

Hi Heinz Regarding 3rd Medium Regiment RA in my research for Iserlohn and 1st (BR) Corps District units have come up with the following from various sources May 45 command 49th (West Riding) Infantry Division stationed Larkhill Barracks Bochum later Kingsway Barracks Rendsburg (thanks for the confirmation) Oct 46 transferred to 53rd (Welsh) Infantry Division renamed 15th Medium Regiment RA from Apr 47 command 1st (BR) Corps District Jun 47 transferred to Hamburg District command 4th Army Group RA on disbandment to 7th Armoured Division? Mar 51 moved to Churchill Barracks Lippstadt command 1 (BR) Corps from Nov 51 until when Mar 55 moved to UK Regards Steve  | |
