Stationed at Wrexham Barracks Mulhiem Germany

I was posted to Wrexham Barracks in January 1953 where half our squad was split and sent to Korea. Having just finished 2 months training at Aldershot and Yeovil I was drafted to 113 coy. At that time 113 were equiped with Austin K5 GS 3 tonner's and jeeps. 11 coy were in the process of changing from QL bedfords to RL Bedfords but C platoon retained their 10 ton Leyland Hippo's. After about 9 months I was posted to CRASC and became the Crasc dispatch rider. If I remember rightly our CO at the time was Lt/Col M.G.M.Crosby.
