| Thanks Steve.
Mention of the D&Ds reminds me, we had neighbours from that regiment, when we lived in Munster/Coerde. The battalion went off to Larzac and when our neighbour came back, he'd picked scabies up. He passed it to his kids who passed it to my son who gave it to us. Not a thing I'd like to catch again !

| I am fairly sure it was Oxford Barracks where I helped handle the MFO out for Queens Surreys and I think we moved in RGJ , that would have been late 60s, I am fairly sure that the RGJ were confined to barracks for a period, think they were a little high spirited in town

| A Green Jacket Battalion (2?) were certainly in Oxford Barracks when I was in the Loddenheide complex on the otherside of town in the late 60s/early 70s. | |

| It was used as Edinburgh school until it closed a few years ago also Civi transport group had workshops at rear. And tranmitter tower for BFBS
That's where I went to school in the late 1960's. All I remember was that it consisted of a few wooden huts. | |
