I can't be certain on this Hardrations but it looks like he has SAS wings on his jacket. Not SAS wings brum. They're Cdn. paratrooper wings. When Bill came into the RC Sigs he was posted at Rivers Manitoba. This is where para training took place then. He qualified for his wings while in the RC Sigs Det there. One of the rewards in being posted there.
Thanks for that, I can see how I was confused now.

| I was but a mere regi-mental signaller, but it gets to me too the "over and out" thing. you would think with the amount of money they spend on some of these films/plays/programme they could afford some for research. As for the petrol station pillock they must be breeding. My local Esso station is also a TESCO Express which is a convenience store. So why is it that the person in front of me always fills up then wanders off and gets the full weeks shop by the trolley full instead of first moving the car to the parking area??? Mindless morons. I now drive an extra mile to a station without a shop in order to prevent me committing murder | |

| Don't even mention actors wearing berets. Harrier landing pads I call them. They always have a military advisor in the end credits. Which friggin army were they in? | |

| There was a film on the box very late last night or early this morning to be precise. Called Dresden with German and British actors.
Our guys in a Lancaster bomber bomb Magdeburg and get attacked by fighters. I quote "Fighters at 12 oclock Hours and Five oclock Hours. Cut to shot of real action footage but from a B17 or maybe B24 waist gunners firing 50 caliber machine guns. Okay I can accept the artistic licence for the 50 cal but 12 oclock hours?

| Didn't watch it but noticed it in the TV Times.
Wasn't it German-made ?
I suppose the RAF were the villains, again.
