Ah!, I see that the good moderators have made some amendments for me - it says that I am now 77 today. (QEII also). Don't feel it. Can't wait until 2014 when I qualify for 25p on the old pension. Also 50 up on the old marriage stages in a fortnight. I'll just sit down for a mo, can't stand all the excitement.

I read, speaking of Lizzie, that she had her future in-laws over for lunch the other day (the Middletons). Wonder how that went? I mean, it's not like the Middletons live on some housing estate or anything or in some pokey little Council house somewhere, but still....can you imagine showing up at the Buck, swinging through the gates and being escorted up to the Private Apartments and having lunch with the Queen...who is now not just "the Queen" but "family". All a bit mind-blowing, I'd think. What would you talk about?

Reading the Sydney papers today, Will and Kate lived in a cottage at RAF Valley, Anglesey, for a marriage 'road test' Also alleged before that she accompanied Will to his single mens quarters, maybe just for an afternoon tea of cucumber sarneys? queen

Like any modern young couple they have been at it
almost since they met..They shared a cottage when they were at uni,I somehow don`t think it was to share the gas bill and save them a couple of bob.. Laughing
