Gen Jim - AWOL??

Nothing has been heard from our senior member Gen Jim for a while, hope nothing is amiss. I believe he contibutes to a RAOC web site so maybe some of you ex RAOC bods may know where/how he is.

I hear they have a section in the Colchester 'Nick' for old soldiers. Hearing aids and wheelchairs provided.

Seconded. Last time this happened on another forum it didn't turn out very well, sad to say. Come on Jim.

Had a drink or 3 with Jim at the RAOC Weekend on Saturday May 20th, then he was off to Malta on holiday. He posted on RAOConLine Yesterday.

Good news Mike, shows what happens when you dont get your clearance chit signed before departing - alarm and consternation. At our ages we end up thinking the worst, no doubt an explanation will be forthcoming upon his return.

President? Prosecutor? Defending Officer (unless Jim opts to defend himself or pleads Guilty), No shortage of volunteers to Brigadiers to be Junior Member. Lt Cols can be ordered to attend as "Officers under instruction"
