| Well the deuce and a half and the personnel carrier were often seen swanning about in Germany driven (or aimed) by Canucks .. but the Jeep was classified as my 'personal weapon' by the lads of 20 Bde Sigs, any excuse to go swanning off in one was a joy and every opportunity was taken. I just loved that vehicle ... Land Rovers and Champs BAH !!!.

| Old vehicles!!! OLD vehicles??? Can't be....why, it wasn't that long ago I was climbing in and out of the back of deuce-and-a-halfs and, probably totally against regs, allowed to drive one down a back road near the Mohnesee Dam (I was probably 16 or 17 at the time....gosh....okay, so maybe these ARE "old" vehicles...gad!). | |
