I have seen the post stating that 1 QLR were there from Jan 1970. This is not correct though. QLR only amalgamated in Dover on 25 March 1970 then did a tour of NI from May until Sep 70. We moved to Mercer Bks in November 1970 and took over from 1 RS. We left early December 1974 on handing over to 1 A & SH. Hope this helps.
