ID Cards

Still got my old ID card, it has Reserve chopped through it.

i was under the impression that the last Labour Government was talking about bringing out a 'Veterans ID Cards' of some sort some years ago, then everything went quiete. Does anyone know anything about this?

The 'Veterans ID Card' website that is advertised, just what benefits if any? I was thinking of applying for one a few years ago, but the cost of it and the annual cost put me off.

It would jsut be another 'pice of plastic with a photie on it' along with my Bus Pass and my Photo ID Driving Licence......!!

Had my no cost access pass for two years now but a load of hassle to get it but very handy for NAAFI shopping when near one but tax has to be paid at my local Zollant...

we never had i d cars just the old ab 64 , er indoors has still got her i d card issued during the war , and ration book . ginger

Like you GingerJim I only had a 'doctored' AB 64 Pt1 - it showed I was an Operator Keyboard no mention of Ciphers (or Cyphers as it was when I enlisted) for security reasons.
And if 'she is indoors' are you still in the Dog House.

Some o them up here are only aged 10 plus and they can get their hands on booze easily.The sad thing about it is, their parents are doing the same thing on cheap cr*p.What a future for the young of today.
