| Yes Steve and it is a fact that boys and girls used to be dressed the same (up until the age of two) I do know that as a youngster I was certainly in a dress (I don't remember it, do you think that could have had an effect on my life????) | |

| Don't know about that Steve but both Victorians & Edwardians seemed to dress the kids in sailors outfits in addition to the boys in girls clothes. | |

| I lived in Hohne from 1954-1970-dad was SKC manager@ Globe-went to Gloucester School for 4 years-best ever-football trips to Hamm Willersmhafen etc-also school trips to German schools-Friday Club disco in assembly-schite bands-sorry Dave Carruana for throwing that brattie when you were in the middle of Sugar sugar-my cousins Derek & Mike Coyne-old girlfriends-anyone I was rude to or hurt than I am very sorry-seeing John Lennon filming How I Won the War on the cricket pitch opposite the Globe-chuffed when we beat the old enemy in 66 & delivering a SKC tv with Dad to Rheinzehlen nr Soltau so troops could watch match-returned on exercise there in 78 -still a dump-returned to Gloucester in 98-tended Mike Priestlys grave in Bergen-his father ran Hohne golf club & he was run over by a Dutch jeep in 68-fantastic teachers-but I never learned a thing-too busy a social schedule-life since then 1 big anti climax-7 years a Gunner & just completed 23 as a porter @ Cardiff University-anyone remembers me-1 Im very sorry 2 nice to hear from you 3 you must be confusing me with someone else-peace | |

| Clive, I served in Korea 1954/5 and we had a Sgt in the REME (he was a civilian really, wore uniform due to being on active service)., His name was Richardson and had a Jiim Edwards moustache. Met him again when he was the AKC manager at Munster in the 1960's. | |

I attended that school from when it opened in 61? till I escaped in 63, hated every last minute of it! On a brighter note, us kids figured out how to get into the cinema for free, happy days, Ian | |
