I must have upset the bloke who dished out postings to get that little lot.
20 miles between postings, must be a record.
Hoping to bump into any one from back then who i knew or knew me.

Welcome Mal, there are a few Donkey Wallopers on here!! Going on my experience of Movers Les, definitely the latter.

Either that or they have got themselves lost.

You are probably correct there Shelldrake, unfortunately the units I served in were so small, I have only come across 1 from Marchwood (and as he is Welsh it probably takes him a long time to reply with the translations and all that) 1 WRAC Sgt from Dusseldorf ( who I converse with on a regular basis) and 1 guy from training, what a motley crew

Tell us a little bit more about the WRAC Sgt, Les.

Well Shelldrake, with the unit at Dusseldorf at that time we had 2 WRAC personnel that were available to help with Families, (overnight stays, flight delays) and this just happened to be one of them, very nice Lady, she actually recognised me first, to be honest although I remember them all I did not expect that they would remember me, lovely Lady

How can you have WRAC and "lovely lady" in the same post

Gordon, quite simple really, if I had photo's of that time I would post them and you would see for yourself, very nice and good company in the bar during the evenings, great times, I know that would not be the same for all but then that works the other way round also, the one I am in contact with is still a lovely lady and a Grandmother

On a visit to Hong Kong we went for a trip on a junk which included a visit to a restaurant well-frequented by ex pats and well known for its delicious food.

During a visit to the Little Boys Room a wrong turn took me to the kitchen. It looked exactly like the one in the photo b!

Sticking my head above the parapet again.

During my time we, at "The Sharp End", never really encountered WRAC personnel.

From what I did see of them, some were gorgeous and some looked like a page out of "Viz" magazine. A bit like squaddies, really.

Wanna see "Gorgeous" ? Take a look at Dutch Indonesian women.

(I must go for a lie down in a darkened room now !).
