That kitchen looks like the Choggie shop we had in NI.

that kitchen reminds me of the cafe royal in regent street in london ,one of londons poshest diners , in the 60s, i had the misfortune to have to deliver a new complete kitchen to the premises , unfortunately we had also to take the old kitchen cookers ranges etc to the tip , we even refused cups of tea when they were offered , as for eating there no thank you . i never came across a more disgusting working kitchen in my life, and that was one of londons poshest , i can just imagine some of the diners if they really knew how their food was cooked ,YUK

Managed to survive the grottiest kitchens in Singapore..If health and safety had been around in those days ,we would have starved


Spitting in wok to ensure fat was hot

Always had plenty of this on hand

I had the misfortune to use the toilets in one of the downtown Kyrenia restaurants. It was that bad, the rats were wearing coveralls.

I do still have a roll,which i give to the grand kids when they visit...Their faces are a picture..

Years after demob, why would ANYBODY still have a roll of army bog paper ?

i'm with Brum. Avoided it enough in the army without bringing it home. I did know some senior NCO's pads kept a bit of a stock. Purely to clean up after the dog or some other excuse!

There seems to be a glut of strange avotars going the rounds. What's going on !!!

I think it's the Bog paper Jimsigs, it is interesting and scarey for the Grandchildren but they end up not believing it anyway
