Glad we lost the contest, and I am betting Greece are as well LoL
Eurovision has had its day, and I think the UK should not enter again.

And Spain, Portugal, Italy, Eire and the UK. I would agree with you Mike, in this day and age what possible use is the Eurovision, it was originally started to bring harmony to Europe after WW2 - don't think it has.

no, "sing little birdie" was the first line of the song by Pearl Kerr and Teddy Johnson that won the contest for the uk in the early 60's [ or maybe the late 50's?] Ian.

At the risk of sounding like an Anorak, my favourite Eurovision winner was Nicole with "Ein bisschen Frieden" from 1982. A much different era, perhaps?

'Sing little birdie' was used in a Python sketch with communist leaders answering the questions Marx,Lenin,Guevara.
The contestant who answered Pearl Carr & Teddy Johnson was Mao Tse Tung.
