Long pig ? No, never tried that. Did have a taste of bear once in a spot in Hameln........ a bit on the chewy side I remember. And about the road kill thing, I've heard it told that some have picked up a pheasant which was thumped but not run over. Could be a bit messy if it had to be scraped off the Michelins, though..

Bison steak (Buffalo). Can't be beat. Also elk or moose is good to. But bison is on the top of the list for me.

That's it Gordon, the new round one .. when I contacted the RSA re attending the Blandford
re-union in 2004 they said I wasn't a member and had to rejoin although I had my original numbered shield type badge issued in 1952 when I joined the Association on a mass divisional sign up on Corps Day. I even used to attend the Regimental Dinners in Southampton after demob, so much for Royal Signals 'communication skills'.

Thats not very nice her telling everyone you can't get it up any more! Back to food, when I were a lad, it was always Sunday dinner but these days people talk about Sunday lunch. It's a snob thing I think?
