This was in 1949 the Konigshof building which was the HQ for BAOR, I was in GHQ 2nd Echelon which was in Hamburg until we moved. We did guard duties here at night and on Sat and Sunday when the RMP went off duty. We were billeted allover the place in private houses and the last one was in Ost Korso which is now the "Haus Lubecke" opposite the church in the Kurpark (it had a cracked bell) | |
