Now I have no doubt that you guy's have all had a go at cooking one time or another , not just the full English or a bacon buttie ,or even the odd Sunday roast . I'm on about the good stuff a a lovely French dish or a special Italian take your breath away Chinese or Mexican . So who would fair best without prejudice Yourself or your wife?.... be honest

Surely we are all capable cooks and are able to produce delicious variants of the basic Army compo rations (years of experience of crew cooking on FTXs provided the grounding, none of this boil in a bag poofter modern stuff was available then)

My wife would probably say I am the better cook, her idea is to head for M&S or S----y or W----e instant meal shelves and 30 minutes later produce the required meal with the minimum of effort and cleaning up.
