You claim on your site for Hobart Barracks,note number 11,that Bernie Meares contacted you and told you that the 4th/7th RDG.moved there in April 83,I am the only Bernie Meares to have served in that Regiment,and I went to Hobart Bks on 23rd March 83,so it was not me that told you,to do this I would have to have been a member of this forum,as I have become a member in the last 5 mins,that was not possible,therefore would you please remove my name from Hobart Bks as the supplier of that info,many thanks.

Unfortunately for you there was an enforced management buy out about 18 months ago when the original team left without a proper handover

At the moment the new administrators cannot amend the original data. Doubtless when our "techies" have gained access the amendment you have requested will be carried out

I don't see any mention of 1 RHA having been in Hobart Barracks, yet my first posting as a field radar tech (REME) was to 1 RHA LAD REME from 1975-76. I was attached to E Bty for the regiment's tour of duty in Belfast from March to July 1976
