| IS CONSCRIPTION THE ANSWER?
Am I alone in thinking that the return of conscription would be beneficial to the nation? I sincerely believe that there would be a threefold advantage.
Firstly, It would remove many of the Social Misfits from our streets; secondly, it would provide a welcome boost to Manufacturing Industry by providing lucrative contracts for equipment and clothing, and, finally, I am convinced that many potential Migrants would be deterred from undertaking a journey to what they (rightly or wrongly) perceive as a crock-of-gold, if they were aware that they would be expected to serve in our armed forces, and be expected to help to defend it during any National Emergency. | |

| I doubt very much that today's Army, or either of the other services, would welcome conscription. Recent governments have been running down the numbers to such an extent they would be seriously overstretched by having to man and run a brand new training establishment...and where would that establishment be? All the unused land owned by the MOD has been sold off. Unless there is a major, and I mean major conflict, there will be no more conscription in this country. | |

| Subject: Military in Aid of Civil Powers.... or lack off?? 20/6/2016, 10:11 | |
| With all those dusky, sex starved, single lads swilling around places like Germany, Sweden, and many of whom want to come to the shores of Old Blighty to partake of our bounty of free Council houses, cash, free TVS, cars, ciggies etc (all alleged of course, you know what our screatching Liberal PC driven Luvvies are like), should conscription be part of the process of increasing manpower (oops, sorry - personpower), to help bolster the UKBA staff 9who, allegedly appear to be useless like HMCRC? I do beleive that Germany may still have conscritpion for its armed forces, or they may have suspended this. However with all thsoe migrants etc swilling about, often causing riots and 'other cultural stuff', the German civil authorites will have to call on their military to bolster the civil authorties like they do in France. The French authorieites are NOT backwards in using their military to aid and bolster internal sercurity, especially at the moment with all those rioting so-called football fans, the French workers rioting against Hollonde's planned changes in working practices, pensions etc. So - does the UK have the manpower in its armed forces to be called out to bolster the Civil Authorities here if there is a mass ladning fo dusky chaps in rubber boats and ribs coming across the Channel. Or are our Political and Intellectual elites so spineless, and so full of inaction that they will do what they aswyas do - "Do nothing, and hope everything goes away!" so - will summer 2016 be a long "hot" summer for social unrest across these EU-SSR Brussels Politburo Lands...??? | |

| given the present situation in Europe, I would think it is very necessary to start conscription again, including anyone wanting to make a life in the UK | |

| Conscription is not the answer IMHO! It's hard enough teaching recruits that have volunteered let alone press ganged. | |
