After the end of the war in 1945, the Royal Air Force took over the field. In the late 1950s, Jagel was returned to German administration and became a naval aviation base, used by Marinefliegergeschwader 1 (Naval Wing 1). In 1994, Jagel became a German Air Force base and home of the Aufklärungsgeschwader 51 (Reconnaissance Wing 51), which was later renamed to Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 51 (Tactical Air Force Wing 51). In the 1950s: Use Royal Air Force base. The airfield had the characteristical installations for RAF airfields like a red identification beacon with morse code and an Eureka beacon. Royal Signals as follows May 45 –1st Air Formation Signals disbanded Oct 45 Oct 45 – 13th Air Formation Signals from Scheuen north of Celle disbanded Jan 46 Jan 46 – 11th Air Formation Signals formed from 13th Air Formation Signals and remained until moving to Celle Mar 46, when 83 Group merged with 84 Group and 67 Wing Signal Troop of 1 Squadron were then stationed at RAF Schleswigland

Stadt Schleswig (The 'Dom' (Cathedral) in the background.
The title of this photo is 'TYSK'. Literally it means German.
I think they are referring to the location, ie Gemany of the Norwegion Soldiers in the March Past of what to me seem to be Norwegian RMPs. The flag definately looks like the Norwegion Flag.
Any comments please.

The building which was the 'Malcolm Club' in Schleswig for a number of years.
I think the current photo looks like possibly the 1960/70's

Looks like they are marching into Marine formerly Caterham Barracks originally Seefleigerhorst Kaserne

24 Feb 49 – relieved by HQ 491st Norwegian Tyskland Brigade from Norway
