Cricket

Dear members of this forum,

you probably know that some of the former military facilities in Soest were turned into a university. The university offers an English language BA programme in Business Administration and Informatics - where I teach. Quite a number of my students are from Pakistan and Bangladesh - and avid cricket fans. I would enjoy helping them to play the game they love - thus I have two questions:
1. Was there a cricket pitch in Soest, and if so where and is there any chance it could be "revived"?
2. Do you know whether there are still cricket players in/around Soest who would be interested in trying to set up some kind of cricket infrastructure for the students?
