29 May 45 – HQ 5th Army Group RA – Braunschweig-Zuckerberg – to 6 Jul 45
19 Jun 45 – Braunschweig area was used to harbour British Troops Berlin – to 4 Jul 45
10 Jul 45 – HQ 5th Infantry Division moved into Luftlotte Kaserne later Yorkshire Barracks, Grünwaldstraße, Stadtkreis Braunschweig
15 Jan 48 – Divisional Headquarters none operational with responsibilities to Hannover District

31 Mar 47 – HQ Royal Engineers 5 Infantry Division – Charles Barracks – to 15 Feb 48
