Medals and REME people

Hi. I'm back! FIRSTLY will someone on the Admin side of this website please, please tell me why and when you decided my log in details were to be cancelled. I had to re-enlist to get here.I've just read about the No Medals for post-war BAOR. You only get campaign medals for real fighting engagements, hence I've got the GSM with clasps South Arabia and Radfan. But of course nothing for 6 years in BAOR.

My career may have overlapped with 2 very recent REME correspondents as I was in Aden 1963 to 65, and Baor 1960 - 63 and (Berlin) 1965 - 68. I started a Deepcut, Junior Leaders, then 5 Trg Bn in Arborfield followed by 10 Trg Bn in Gosport. LAD REME 16/5 QRL Osnabruck, 11 Inf Wksp REME Minden. HQREME Fort Morbut Aden and REME Tech Services Singapore Lines, lastly my beloved Berlin for 3 years before I was swallowed up by the Foreign Office. If you know of Ginger D. then that's me, but now it's white Ginger D. !!!!!
