By 1953 the R.A.F. Eindhoven Control Tower had been partially rebuilt.
Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Celebration in the Sergeant's Mess at R.A.F. Eindhoven.
In 1953 my parents had become honorary civilian members at the R.A.F. Eindhoven sergeant's mess, and our father had taken up business in Eindhoven as his new career.

Subject: Eindhoven closure 1962 15/8/2024, 16:28
Hi there, I am the daughter of an airman who was stationed at Eindhoven when it closed in 62. As a family we lived in Eindhoven in a flat. I wondered if anyone else recalled the closure. I am remembering that my dad said that there were some items that they were allowed to have as each building was closed, pictures, china, that sort of thing. Does anyone else recall this.
