| R.A.F. BlackpoolDaddy has Come Home from a Secret PlaceHe has been promoted to sergeant and assigned a crew. He'll be gone for a long time.In the Wake of D-DayCollateral Damage:It's late September 1944. Daddy has already been gone six months now! (And I've been told we won't be together as a family again until November 6, 1946.) Recently I (stonewall) published an action novel that chronicles this time-frame in a historically accurate way. It's wholly fiction though. Sgt. Ken Jacoby is the main character. It shows how war affects people in different ways, both good and bad. It's a good read and available on Amazon under the title 'Jacobie in the R.A.F.' The novel was authored by Mari Kaye (Kevin, my sibling) who lives in Sydney, Australia. | |
