Hello everyone please can someone help me ? Does anyone have an emails address for the Archives Office of the 7th Armoured Brigade based in Hohne in Germany?
I have being trying to get some information from my time served at Bournemouth Barracks in Soltau in the early 1980’s.
I am aware that the 7th Armoured Brigade moved out of Soltau in 1993.

That's a tall order! Not sure that exists in Archives? It is possible individual units have some History Files. Have you a particular unit in mind? Maybe a hint of what you seek will help!
Someone may be able to help. At least maybe to point you in the right direction?

Did you play for a Sigs Unit? These Officers might be around as senior guys. Look for more photos taken by these guys, even for RS units. Check back Numbers.
If RS? Go to there Library of Back Numbers, even back to the 80's
The Pioneer Corps. Do they have a Monthly?
List for me names of Cups won in senior games please.

I played football for 207 Sig Sqn in Germany from late 82 till mid 84.
I will look into the Sig magazine and see if I could chase anything up there
The RPC have a monthly but that only deals with UK based RPC personnel.
The cups that I won in Germany were with 207 Sigs who as you know were part of the 7th Armoured Brigade but it’s that long ago o honestly can’t remember what cups they were
These officers will probably be in their early 60s now and more than likely retired but I just thought when the Brigade left Soltau and moved to Honhe in 1993 that all of the archived stuff would of been moved there as well ?
The email I was chasing up is from the 7th Armoured Brigade who are now based in Honhe Bergen ( i have been there many time over the last few years )
I will keep trying and see where it takes me Alan.

You need to contact Hugh Pierson who had been the BAOR Legacy Archive Officer up to at least 2019 (had also been the Services Liaison Officer up there in Bergen Hohne and handed over the Barracks)
